Moobs has asked for my input, so here it is. I like that setup very much, however i would stick with 2GB of RAM for now and use the cash to get a E7200 or above.

Reason i say that is because it is a whole, whole lot easier to upgrade RAM in the future compared to a CPU. Also, the ridiculously low DDR2 prices means it's cheap to upgrade, whereas with a CPU you'd have to sell your old one in order to buy a new, better one. All a lot of hassle.

Otherwise, the motherboard and cooler looks very nice and i can give you some personal tips on overclocking.

Finally, if you have to get an OS, Vista X64 is the way to go (preferably Home Premium).

Is the ACF7Pro really worth it over the Akasa AK-965? Frostytech says it's only a tiny bit worse than the HDT-S963.

I've personally never heard anything good about the Akasa AK-965... i've never even heard of it!

It does have quite a good reputation. Hexus gave it a glowing review recently, but I feel we are duty bound to ignore that one considering that in the same review they panned the Xiggy.

If you look back i found an SPC review of it which is pretty good. I have one myself and although its only cooling a E1200 its doing it completely fanless! The build quality of it, expecially the plate touching the CPU is far superior to any of the AC7 pros i have used. The only edge the AC7 has is the rubber mounts on the fan to stop vibration.

I dont see why they would lie though, the information they put seems to make sense and they have always been a reliable source for me.

I was joking, because both Alex and I have that cooler. There has been some speculation on their forums that they botched the TIM application, though.

I meant the Akasa. I can't find it on Tigerdirect, Frys, or Microcenter either.
