The last time I looked the 4870 costs twice as much as the 88GT...

Yep it does (at least here in Sweden), so if you have the money to spend on the 4870 go for that card instead, even better bang for the buck.

If you won't play much more than PR waaah a 88GT is the best choice tho.

Look at my sig. Did i really need 3 graphics cards? I only play BF2, CoD4 and GRID.... not even Crysis. My 8800gts 320mb would have done nicely, but i want the newest, latest stuff out there.

Look at my sig. Did i really need 3 graphics cards? I only play BF2, CoD4 and GRID.... not even Crysis. My 8800gts 320mb would have done nicely, but i want the newest, latest stuff out there.

Which is quite stupid imo, not all of us have money to throw around, if a card is adequate for your current games, why buy a new one? The 8800GT won't be obsolete for a while, it's $120 on Newegg, but the 4850 is $150 after a mail in rebate.

Plus you have to keep in mind 1000 Kroner = $184 USD so 4850 prices will be different also in Norway.

Which is quite stupid imo, not all of us have money to throw around, if a card is adequate for your current games, why buy a new one? The 8800GT won't be obsolete for a while, it's $120 on Newegg, but the 4850 is $150 after a mail in rebate.

It was actually 1200 kroner all in all

The 4850 was 1400. But since 8800 is more than enough for me i dont wanna spend more money than i have to

it costs 2000- 5000 here and swedish kronors are worth alot less then norweigen kronors :shock::shock:

Depends if you have a parent or someone else that goes to some place, get a certification and then is allowed to teach you to drive.

It could cost maybe up to 30 000 sek if you have to take driving lessons from a company.

It's not all about gaming. I like overclocking new cards and just fiddling with them. It's more about playing with a new gadget than being able to pump up graphics.

I don't have a console or my own car outright, so i currently have the money to splash and i'm enjoying it whilst i can :)
