How come an action movie like Will Smiths "I, Robot" manages to deliver science fiction concept a whole lot better than both Pandorum and Surrogates? Im pissed!

The most important questions "How?" and "Why?" are left unanswered, and the viewer is not given enough information to answer these questions himself through speculation.

This makes the movies not into sci-fi action, but just empty and soulless action flicks!

And while Pandorum is good, its not great unless the DVD release will patch that problem.

Not really a film, but I finished watching The Wire. Awesome series.

I did watch "Carlito's way", now that is also a great movie. I love Al Pacino!

Saw about an hour of "Lolita" last night, the newer 1997 version. Interesting story, but it went onto the early hours of the morning, so i'm going to acquire it and watch it again later.

Surrogates:
I didn't like it that much, but not exactly for the same reasons as Chris_Redfield. Going in, it had great potential as a "thinker," but as the movie wore on there was too much action without content. I love movies that can really make you think (Dictrict 9 was the last REALLY good movie I've seen). Overall the movie wasn't bad, but it turned out to be a rather bland and lackluster movie.

Although, my possibly-almost-ex-girlfriend (yeah... :|: ) enjoyed watching those types of movies with me that many girls don't. :p
