Yup but when are they coming to the friggin UK..I posted a thread in the Hexus forums in the Scan bit to see if they will be cutting prices and all i got was that they do prices like live..So if theyre suppliers cut prices they will cut prices...

E8500 dropped to $200. Very good deal. However, C2D/C2Q owners really have no incentive to upgrade before Nehalem. People who are still using Pentium 4/D/Athlon on AM2 or socket 939 may want to do it now.

E8400 is now £110...E7200 is now £75...E8500 is now £123...

My dad just caleld from taiwan saying that the E8400 is £90 over there..i said its not worth it..Shall i call him back? Do you think its a good deal?

Yep i read that..But it shouldnt be..Maybe they got a bad batch one or something..Its smaller manufacturing priocess than the Q6600..45nm..So it should be a better overclocker..Mayeb CPC just got a bad one...

Actually, it's got a smaller cache than the other 9 series quads, and it has a 7.5x multiplier which is a pain for overclocking.

Why from Taiwan? Computer stuff isn't any cheaper there due to tax policy and currency exchange.
