Yep and scan.co.uk will have the 4870 in stock around the 25th but wont be able to sell as ATI have said not to..Tehy have the 4850 at £130~ which is incredibly good for a card that smashes the 8800gt, 9600gt and 9800GTX....and in the US its $199.99

the 4850 is around $170 - $200. It's about the same performance as the 9800GTX, which is around $200. Both are about the same performance as the 3870X2 (which is still like $300)

9600GT and 8800GT are around $140 or less, so it really depends on your budget.
