Just wanted to ask you all: what do you do every day/week/month to keep your computer running at its best?

Nothing, just like scinto.

You're not going to notice a boost of 10 FPS in a game for a 10 second faster start up time or anything really significant.




The only thing I do to keep my PC running fast is to upgrade stuff when it gets outdated.

I search through my computer for viruses once every two months and usually defrag at the same time.

I also open my case and remove most of the dust too once every 4 months or something.

Well I don't have any problems with lag in game. My PC isn't even slow at all, I just want to start doing these kind of things so it doesn't start getting slow over time and then take forever to speed up.

Follow those few simple things I said and you will be ok for starters...and ignore those that say nothing as that pretty much doesn't even answer your question or begin to help you.
