$2000 budget..

ok so i want to upgrade my new pc... so i can play crysis and other games on the higher/highest settings.. i currently have the pc to the left under my name... and i have $2000 for upgrades...$270 is already accounted for as its going to pay for my new case.. so what should i spend the rest on? i was thinking i should SLI the GTX.. which would also need me to upgrade my psu to about 900+ watts... what fo u guys think? :)

also i need some good speakers.. logitech prefferably..

I'm sorry but these speakers are just pure win. Also Crysis doesn't like SLI very much yet so SLI that GTX would probably not help much. Wait for the 9800GX2 and better SLI support for that upgrade.

exactly what vash said, wait, be patient for the GX2 or GTX, at least then ull be future proof for a couple of years. other than that ur system looks fine in ur sig.

Sorry to say this but dont wait for the 9 Series... They are not the next gen cards.

nVidia are pulling a fast one, the 98xx Series are just slightly overclocked G92's (ie 8800GTS),

Proper next gen cards will be out around Summer.

SLI doesn't give you that much increase in perfomance actually. You might easily get as little as a 20% boost from the second card.

I'd go for a nice set of speakers and sound card (if you don't have a good one already). Then just let your video card money sit for a while and cool off. :p

You might also want to look into some improved cooling so you can overclock that CPU of yours, if you haven't already.

then he is better off with his GTX, or a G92GTS, this is good news for me as i was going to get one of them 9*** now i am going to wait. Maybe u shud look into ATi's 4**** series.

to be honest i would love to wait and get the new cards.. BUT.. i have only just paid $699 for the GTX i have now.. meaning if i was to get the new card id have to sell this GTX for around $200

i have came up with a list of things i want to buy..

like i said.. id love to wait and get the new cards but in the end doing so will make me lose a few hundred dollers.. and the new cards wont be cheap!

what do u mean?... sli improves gaming abilities.. i want my FPS to be higher in crysis and be able to have higher settings.. SLI should give me that..
