yeah its ok now.. but it cant play crysis as good as i would like and i dont even want to think what bf3 is going to do to it
this is my first desktop pc.. so i kinda new to pc gaming and stuff.. i just like to have the best i can so i can play the newer games with good settings.. im a noob i know but im just not happy with good graphics and FPS i want either the best or very good.. and im just not getting that from this system..Comment

lol ok i think i have finally figured out what i will do :)
i will replace my gtx with th 9800GX2 and im pretty sure the place that i just bought my GTX from will swap it fot the GX2 and i just pay the $100+ difference.. so my final list will look like this..

thats if they DONT swap the GTX.. if they do.. i will also add another Two HDD's to run in raid and a good sound card :)
so what do u guys think?
P.S. i do know word about the "T200" from nvidia but im not going to wait another month or however long its going to be.. i have waited long enough :p
EDIT: i just called the Pc shop and they are willing to give me $450 back for my gtx.. so i can buy 2 more HDD's and a decent sound card

i think two things here about your system..
which i have a well rounded extensive knowledge in this also..
one is that 5.1 surround is being replaced with 7.1....i would look for that in a high end..
i have chosen my 7.1 surround but its mid range...
second..there is no way in gods power you will ever need a 1000wat psu ever...i just cant see it ever being fully used ...you could go for a 600 or 700 if ya wana be paranoid...
at that a 700 wat psu would power sli and 6 or 7 case fans plus the system just fine..
myself i run 6 separate fans non sli set up with a 500wat psu fine..no problems ever..
second i would say save your money for raptor drives and raid raid setups...unless you wana buy a ram drive but i think that's out of your price range..ram drive = expensive super expensive...
if you don't have high end fast raptor drives, i would say buy a few or at least have a terro worth of space with it ...Comment

yeah, that's a solid state drive. they're used as hard drives, not physical ram. They're a lot faster than what we use, partly because it has no physical moving parts. it's basically a big flash drive. you can get 64GB internal SSDs off newegg for $1200+Originally posted by theminx View PostComment

yes but the speed actually is a big BIG diffrence...because think of it this way..anyone ever open that notepad program? ever notice how its like instant in how fast it opens up...
now picture that with big applications..games like crysis cod4 etc etc...you have no idea how fast the game really can be until you have used one or seen one in action....Comment

SSD drives are poor performance and price at the moment because the write speeds are slower than that of a mechanical drive.
And, when you load a game from an SSD, you're saving 5 seconds-10 seconds off the load time, is it really worth the money just for that.
If it were me, i'd buy one or two Samsung Spinpoint F1's (750gb). They are massive and one is faster than a WD RaptorX when opening games and apps :)Comment

hmm.. i dont know..i might invest in watercooling.. raid would be good but for the money i would rather just wait a few moreseconds for things to load i guess..
any other ideas apart from raid? maybe another 226bw 22" screen
