but, it cant be ..Ive seen those at a massive lan here in nyc and those drives are insanely fast..there is no way possible that a mechanical drive can out beat a solid state drive..

the solid state drives i showed are made up of ram there is no mechanical moving parts and nothing else its pure ram how could it not be fast..

idk bout Asus i don't think they're sound cards are better than Creative, i personally use a creative for my lappy, and am eager to buying me an X-FI for mah rig so the creative one the Fatal1ty ed should be gewd although i think most people would suggest the extreme gamer or music version iirc.

OK, SSDs are faster when reading, no question, but for the kind of thing's you'll use it for, you won't see a major difference- you aren't planning to be sifting through databases with several million records any time soon are you? :p
They are slower in terms of write speeds, due to the way that flash memory works. As such, at the present it would be pointless to get one.

Check out the reviews of some of the SSDs at newegg. People having more trouble with them than people that have them working. Slower read and write times too. Wait for them to refine the tech.

Auzentech X-Fi Prelude. It has the same features, but they've added a lot more in terms of output and hardware. It's an X-fi on speed.

heh if i waited for everything thats coming out id never buy anything.. i have waited a year to buy a decent gaming pc.. im not waiting any longer.

and if i find out the next gen cards are ALOT better then ill just buy one..

I'm just saying you could get a 8800gtx or gts and then have some money for a new graphics card of the same quality in a year rather than blowing it all on one.

i already have a GTX :p but i do understand what ur saying, and thanks for ur help! im just am VERY impatient its a curse.. but yeah like i said if i can get my mitts on an EVGA one i can use the step-up program and hopefully not lose too much cash in the process

but apart from the GPU u think the rest is ok? im only buying the G9 because i want it to matcht he rest of my logitech setup lol.. but i have heard good things about it :)

i love my G9, the sensitivity buttons are in the right place. I agree with Alex, its not worth the money it costs, buy everything else, it looks good, and then just wait a little bit to see what happens to do with GFX. Apparently GX2 drivers aren't brilliant atm.
