3870 owners unite!

Well i love this card,i know the 8800gt is better but for 220 its a hell of a bargain.It also runs very cool.around 60-70 degrees gaming and 47 idle at desktop.Runs cod4 on max at around 70-90 fps as well.

it's good that you like it. i'm thinking about either getting a 3870 or an 88GT. First i need to find out if the 3870 is smaller or bigger than the 88GT because i'll be putting it in my inspiron 531 (yes, it can be done, i've seen it before. i havent seen a 3870 in before, though), and it would replace my 8600gt.

if the 3870 can fit, that'd be great because it's a little bit cheaper than the 88gt and i don't quite have $250...

Hmm well it is a longer card than my 7600gt!Im not at my house but i want to say maybe 8 inches or so long.

3870 is alot easier to overclock as well comapred to the 8800gt because of its dual slot cooler.

Not exactly..they craved that sorta mucle car sound..and that typically is loud...if you had like a ****ty car that was really loud it wouldnt be so great...some stuff can pull off being loud..most cant...
