    ping problem

Ive been kicked a bunch of times over ping which is actually the only reason im here and not playing.

i know that you shouldnt have anything running while your playing. I dont

what are some other tips for lowering ping

and arent there network cards you can by that make it better. I have an Nvidia nForce Networking controller, does that mean anything? Im new to PC gaming but im not completely ignorant of it.

    thanks for any help

assuming your talking about the KillerNIC, the answer is no.

onboard network cards are perfectly fine,

high pings can sometimes be the cause of Punkbuster, or playing BF2 on wireless

you dont turn it off all together, just make sure BF2 is in the exceptions list
