I just saw batman and due to all the hype I had high expectations. Honestly I thought it did not live up to the hype which I think was a product of Heath Ledger's death and the fact that it is batman. I thought it was good but I thought the last Indiana Jones was the best of the year. The movies have not been that great this year in my opinion. It just was not what I expected, I expected a bit more action rather then stuff that would make you think about society. I am not saying that stuff was bad its just not what I was expecting.
I just realized right after I saw the movie I come home and post my thoughts about it on the internet lol.
Saw The Dark Knight at Imax. Great movie although I think you need the Imax for the full spectacle of it. The sound was incredible - when Bruce Wayne was firing the gun to reconstruct the bullet fingerprint I thought my skull was gonna come loose from it's mountings "I don't think you made it loud enough sir", made me laugh.
Also when the guy was trying to extort 10 million dollars to buy his silence from Lucius Fox.

Angelina Jolie - meh. To me she just looks plastic and cold, like a mannequin. Don't find her attractive at all.

Dark Knight was ****ing awesome. I think the movie paying itself in 2 days also says that. I dont understand at all how anyone could think IJ was a good film, terrible dialog, medicore actors, stupid story and just poor. Come'on, if your going to make a film with an alien space ship does it really have to be a big classic spinning disc? be creative.
