        The Dark Night

Yeah yeah yeah, best movie evar, blah blah blah. To be perfectly honest, I felt inclined to dislike the movie just because of the amount of hype and praise it got. So by the end of it I was thoroughly disappointed that it hadn't caused the reincarnation of Jesus or revealed the meaning of life or something.
Its story line was original and sort of reminded me of Casino Royale in the way that it through down all the shackles of its series and came out with something no one has ever seen before. However, its moral and philosophical undertones in references to a North American society lacked subtlety and sometimes pretruded a little obviously, almost to the point where I believed that the only reason they were even revealed that way was so that the stupid people could get the complicated premise of the entire movie.

Hallam Foe (British film) with Jamie Bell ^_^

Interesting movie about a boy (Jamie Bell) who has lost his mother in a murder/suicide and has taken up spying on people as an almost outlet for his depression which takes him on some pretty interesting and personal adventures.. It's the type of story that won't appeal to the majority of people for it's sheer difference in normality but i found it quite good. I wouldn't cheapen it by giving it a rating out of ten as it's the type of movie you either like or you don't imo..

It's a REAL shame UK films don't get more recognition..

yer Hugo Weaving can make an awesome villain, even when the matrix revolutions was dire he managed to drag it up a notch on his own

                      I just saw Wanted >_<

A REALLY hard to explain movie.. I guess the best thing to do is think of it similar as you would something like the matrix.. because it isn't meant to be "realistic" that's VERY fu*king apparent within the first five minutes so i don't know why people are complaining about how "un-realistic" it is.. I was more pi55ed off over the fact that a weaving machine dictated who lived and who died.. The idea of the movie was brilliant, had it been a little more "real" rather than fantasy and with a few minor changes you would definately have a KILLER movie..

While being introduced to the lead character (Wesley) i couldn't help but remember Tyler Durden (Edward Norton) from Fight Club, It was a very similar situation, Loser with a mediocre life/lifestyle evolving into something TOTALY out of the ordinary.

I can't say i liked this movie but it did have Angelina Jolie ^_^ and OMFG she looked too hot and that was enough for me to enjoy it, I can honestly say i probably won't be watching this again. However I do advise EVERYONE to atleast watch up until Jolie is introduced because she look's HOOOOOOOOOOOT!! in this movie

i wouldn't say wanted made that bad of a film. i unlike alot of people can easily accept that not all films stay true to realistic settings, so i wasn't all that bothered with it really. i enjoyed watching it anyways.
as for Jolie, i'm shocked to see you didnt say wait till she gets out that wax bath thing!

Yeah she has an incredible body and all but it's her face I love! she's soo damn hot!.. Every aspect of her face is generically perfect, by this i mean the things all people want, she has.. Nice high cheekbones, big cat eye's, small curved nose, long dark wavey hair and ofcourse the huge lushes lips

The movie wasn't "bad".. but it was dissapointing. Atleast for me it was, Like i said they could have done Soooooo much more given the storyline.. The idea of a secret assassin society has WIN written allover it. But instead they went for the whole fantasy thing.
