      Or just get 3x1GB Sticks.

That is wrong, you obviously know nothing about computers and how they run.

Crysis was specifically built for a DX10 card, why would NVidia invest in a game like Crysis if it would not run it?

I can play Crysis @ 1280x1024 at an average of 35 fps with everything on high. Have you actually played Crysis at 30fps its a smooth as silk.

If, however, i try on ultra high it goes down to 15fps which is still playable until you meet resistance which in turn comes out like a slide show.

You have to also think about what your running in the background on windows, i am on Vista 64 HP and it does use alot of extra crap but if you are like me and have been using computers for a long long time you will know what you need to keep on and what you don't and for what you turn off gives you an extra boost in ram and cpu usage.

It's better to use 2x1gb and 2x512mb as they run in dual channel mode.

3x1GB also runs in dual channel. If your motherboard has Intel Flex Memory Technology™.

I don't think there are really any big brand shops that sell high end hardware like that...

Even if you found one, there would be a £50 premium on the parts.
