The minimum requirements (on the box) for a 8800GTX OC SLI system is 750W Min, so 1KW for SLI = GG
Hell no, 1kw is pure overkill. A corsair 620w psu can power dual 8800gtx's just fine, the max psu required would be 750w, and even then thats too much.
The cpu will come with a stock cooler that will be sufficient.
If you look at the reviews the cons are they wish they had put a fan in the front. Therefore, you may want to add a 120mm fan, they cost next to nothing anyway
