    Re: gaming rig

After some quick googling, the best PSU's seem to be:

    (1) PC P&C from 610W to 1KW

    (2) Zippy

    (3) Corsair

    (4) SeaSonic M-12 & S-12E+

    (5) Silverstone (Single +12V Rail Only)

            Re: gaming rig

700W will be enough for any graphics card now.

How many fans/coolers do i need to install into my case NZXT Apollo BLACK NP Black SECC Steel Chassis ATX Tower (btw, im guessing the case comes with a blue led fan?)

Does anybody know a good guide for the actual building of the computer? Do i need extra wires/screws/w.e?

Yeah, I haven't seen a Zippy yet. LOL As for your case, it should come with at least two fans and all the hardware you need.

The minimum requirements (on the box) for a 8800GTX OC SLI system is 750W Min, so 1KW for SLI = GG

Hell no, 1kw is pure overkill. A corsair 620w psu can power dual 8800gtx's just fine, the max psu required would be 750w, and even then thats too much.

The cpu will come with a stock cooler that will be sufficient.

If you look at the reviews the cons are they wish they had put a fan in the front. Therefore, you may want to add a 120mm fan, they cost next to nothing anyway

if you want a case you should get the Antec Nine Hundred, keeps my oce'd graphics at 43 idle and 55 load
