hahahaha. I've scrimmed with a few of Kyle's clan mates and played on their server a lot. None of them hack.

I don't see any admins rushing to defend theOP4 anymore and I definitely don't see any of them posting or "contributing" (read: spamming) anymore.

I thought LungMei was one of the nicer/ more thoughtful ones? Wow... I was trying to be nice and diplomatic when I got an infraction for flaming them... but Im starting to think maybe even that was being too nice...

Yeah but I still have the lingering notion of leaving a good impression on people despite being on the internet where that is a forlorn concept. Sadly, testosterone has made me rather prone to conflict as of late so Im forgetting my original goal... But its still there.

Japan quake: Fresh explosion at Fukushima nuclear plant

A Japanese nuclear plant stricken by Friday's quake and tsunami has been hit by a second explosion, while a third reactor has lost its cooling system.

New Chernobyl? Would Japan play it down like Moscow in 1986? If you can't cool the reactor you get a meltdown, the nuclear reaction is no longer controlled, why can't they insert the control rods? It should shut down the reaction. I'm not convinced Japan. The core will still produce heat after insertion of the control rods but not enough to cause major explosions like this. Plus it wasn't violent enough for a hydrogen explosion, there was far to much debris. Surly an explosion like that would sever all control to the core making the reaction uncontrollable. Nothing adds up.

As for admins defending them, nothing to defend when they are gone. It wasnt just them I was defending. What about all the other people in the last 3 months that were chased away? Yeah, I said it, CHASED away. I should have started the infractions sooner and harder, but thats me being a bad admin.

@Hendrix, Possibly, its hard to say right now. With our naval ships in the area, Im sure they are scanning nuclear fallout.

They say fuel rods have been exposed, one spent fuel rod emits about 30,000 R/h, normally we are exposed to 200 mR/Year, if the rods were exposed even for a few minutes that place should be crawling with deadly radioactivity. I'm not saying im an expert at all, I just find that nothing makes sense. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

You are right though, we do need to know the truth. Ive read 5 articles this morning and they were all a bit different and only one said there was exposure and the other four said the steal protective "box" has not been breached. One hinted at disaster and another just talked about technical details.

Thats the problem with the media. It's suppose to be unbiased, but thats never the case. You read from a journalist that hates the idea of nuclear power, they are going to spin this every way and how terrible it is. Then you have the boobs that dont understand nuclear energy at all and get all their terms wrong and freak people out by accident.

So yeah, it has to be a wait and see. Hopefully Japan is correct that the safety "box" can withstand an explosion in the core. Chernobyl did not have that feature and was also active during this process. One report I read said this plant wasnt fully up and running when the problems started, but who knows right now.
