Imgur has just announced they're joining in with Wiki and Reddit for the blackout on the 18th to oppose SOPA/PIPA.

On another note, download the Kingdoms of Amalur demo if you can, I actually enjoyed it and might end up buying it.

Found a copy of Battlefield 2142 yesterday for $6 and bought it. Sad to see there are only 4 servers in Aus, none of them populated at this moment...

Had the worst day.

Crashed my boat in italy and then tripped and fell into a life raft when i should have been saving everybody, could it get any worse lol.

last night at midnight I watched a livestream of my boss and friend get married in vegas, just them there, no guests and it was really sad imho, they looked happy but god when I get married I definitely aint doing it in vegas..like it was sad how she walked down the aisle alone with no guests to see her... kinda felt bad but hey thats what they wanted so who am i to judge

Looks like Anonymous is attacking a ton of sites in response to Megaupload being shut down. Including the RIAA, the FBI, MPAA, etc.

From what I'm reading, it seems they were shut down for not acting on copyright claims and profiting from copyright infringement. They ignored all DMCA requests and were even paying people to upload illegal content to get more traffic to the website.

I read quite the opposite. Megaupload has always been really good about complying with DMCA requests when they were made. From the Reddit article about this, someone's comment

12-DEC-2011 - MegaUpload files suit against UMG on the grounds that UMG cannot remove the content as MegaUpload holds the copyright, not UMG.
16-DEC-2011 - UMG says "So what? We can take down whatever we want!" and "You can't touch us. This isn't DMCA. We didn't take it down because of copyright. We took it down because we can."
21-DEC-2011 - MegaUpload labelled a "rogue" site by the USTR.
28-DEC-2011 - MegaUpload wants an explaination from UMG.
19-JAN-2012 - MegaUpload shut down by Feds
20-JAN-2012 - New Zealand arrests in US led global copyright infringement investigation of Megaupload.com and related sites.

Its OK Rambo. Americans are used to it. One day we will relize that it IS our representatives doing it and not the other guys/states.
