I hate games where I have to backtrack through sh!t I have already seen just to get to the new area located behind arbitrarily locked door number one out of what feels like hundreds.
Why not just make the door open, but have all the enemies completely rape you unless your stats are good enough or you are good enough at the game to take on David and Goliath odds?

Another thing I hate is where the enemy has infinite ammo, weaponry, etcetra, so they can just go f!!king nuts AND they have pretty damn accurate aiming even when they should not even know you exist yet. A perfect hard game: enemy has limits (ammo, weapons, etc.), but smart AI utilizing strategy and tactics (enemy and friendly); You are outnumbered without being overwhelmed, not infinitely respawning bastards until you manage to get to their spawn point.

Nah, but I guess that applies in some levels too. I was talking about Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and other games like Metroid.

I know right... For me that was the Call of Duty spec ops mode. On veteran you had dudes running from half a mile away and killing you - not just hitting you. It just killed it for me.

Yes. The second part of that post was mostly about COD (COD 4 in particular). Veteran difficulty in that game pissed me off to no end.

just came back from a 5 day church camp No discussion plz in canberra of all places. Im surprised im still alive. I also missed the mars volta at the big day out yesterday :cry:
