it'll run well. I doubt you will be dissapointed.

Who built it, or are you building it from the parts you listed?

Yeah that looks like a solid rig for now and should keep up with the latest games......SLI and X-fire are dumb ways to waste money because when you want to upgrade, the newer card you just bought has to stoop down to the level of the older card....so yes, you made the better choice :salute:

        .....Have fun pwning the noobs:guns:

"did I do the right thing"

Well thats very much a depends question. As in, it depends what you were wanting to acheive and what you had before. If your rig was 3 years old, then yeah, you've got a good new rig. If it was 6 months old, you probably could have just done nothing.

True, but he's already ordered it so its too late.

These sort of threads pop up all the time, the old "just bought a machine with all top of the range parts, is it any good?". You have to wonder if the poster is just wanting to brag/skite, as quite clearly there are few things he could have done to make his PC more powerful without spending insane amounts of cash. If he's not bragging you'd like to think they would have thoroughly reviewed every component first before purchasing, its not hard to do.

No sir , if you have read the previous posts you will realise that i am a newcomer to making my own rigg , I just wanted some advice on how to fitt it all together ,,

I am not trying to bragg or boast . I am fast appraoching 40 , in middle management and have a large disposable income . I could buy any made up rigg i want but i felt i had to learn ..

No not really. My 2 year old rig plays BF2 fine, I have a lot of other things I'd spend money on before I put more money into a PC to do the exact same things 10% faster....

Then again if I was an older dude in middle management with heaps of cash it wouldn't matter. Instead I'm approaching 30, in middle management, with a decent income that is rapidly consumed by my wife, daughter, and one more on the way

So yes, I'm jealous a little, bastard......
