A majority of the video cards that are first released have some sort of bugs, or errors. I'll wait until they get all the bugs ironed out before I make the plunge for a new graphics card.

A Unified Shader Architecture doesn't guarantee an immidiate victory. Nvidia thinks that 32 pipes are more than enough to take on ATI's R600, I would have to agree.

You also said we wouldn't see an AMD revision G by Christmas nor K8L until 2008, but alas. Lets also not forget who thought and may still think a Geforce 6200 is better than an ATI 9800 pro.

K8L isn't coming out anytime near Christmas. Its slated for H1 2007, I'd give it around mid-2007.
So no, I didn't say that K8L wouldn't be out until 2008.

At the time it was speculated that the upgrade coming around christmas/January 07 would be K8L, but turned out to be revision G. I recall you stating K8L was coming in 2008. Tried to do a search but it turned up nothing.

And the K8L Quad Cores really won't be out until 2008. Whats wrong with that? AMD's K8 Quad Cores are coming out in H2 of 2007, while Intel's Quad Cores are coming out in Q1 2007.
