At least 10 gigs, vista takes up at least 6.

so bf2 performance sucks? If I can find a spare hard drive I might still do it, but if the gaming performance sucks I might just pass.

Of course gaming performance sucks, it's a BETA os. It's not desgined for gaming yet, and all the drivers are beta too.

Anyone know of any good free partitioning programs? I want to make a partition on one of my HD's, the one with my games, and leave the one with XP+regular programs alone.

my vista computer score: 1
my fps in bf2: 8!!!!! [on low]

pentium m @ 1.6ghz
512mb ram
Geforce fx 5200...

my computer reports my video card as only 32 mb, but i'm begining to suspect that there was an error in the bios and i actually have 128 (ran chaos theory like a dream!)

I heard someone got improved performance in BF2 with Vista. They went from low/emd settings to med settings with 2x AA. Isn't Windows 2000 pro a good OS? I heard it was stable and good for gaming.
