Yea ive got the demoof partition, but it doesnt allow you to create them. You have to buy it. Oh well, i guess it will be usefull.

if you've not used all the space on your harddrive use the windows disk managment console

Control Panel > Admin Tools > Computer Managment > under storage > disk management

please help i have used nero and says no cd in drive? and i just dragged the iso to the disk and says no cd in drive????

Xp doesnt support writing dvd's using its own software, only when you drag and drop an item to drive with a cd-r disc in will it burn,

Well, I used Nero Burning ROM SE, and all I had to do was go to File->Open and choose the .iso. After I did that it brought up the burning window

i used that and it said burning failed or somthing,,,
and IT STILL SAYS "NO cd in drive"????

just making sure ive seen people trying to burn a dvd in a cd-rw drive before kinda funny,,

if its saying writing failed then either the disc or the drive is messing up, most likely a dodgy disc you get them quite freqently

i did a get info w/ nero 7 and says my drive dosent support dvd-r so i will go buy a dvd+rw or dvd+r

Damn, I was hopeing Vista BETA2 would have decent performance with BF2 and CSS. I guess Ill give it a try anyhow. I guess we are going to have to get a machine like they used in the article to get good performance in vista:http://www.extremetech.com/article2/...1968996,00.asp

1. anyone know when the better performing version will be out for download?

2. how do XP drivers and such work with it. for example, if I need to install my chipset drivers, and I dont have vista ones, or I dont have vista GPU drivers, what will happen?

1. ETA is 2 and a half to 3 weeks.

2. I would assume all XP drivers wouldn't work, but try it out.

there are beta drivers you can download. I know ATI has windows Vista drivers.
