This decision comes direct from Sony.
In the early afternoon on April 2, word came direct from Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), that both The Last of Us Part II and Marvel's Iron Man VR are delayed "until further notice." The reason behind these delays is, you guessed it, due to the ongoing global crisis.
Word first came from the official PlayStation Twitter account.
This was then expanded upon by a tweet from Naughty Dog's official Twitter account. The studio posted a message, which can either be read below or seen above in this news posting.
This is now the second official delay that has hit The Last of Us Part II. The first was simply because the game was not yet finished. The first release date was set for late February 2020. It was then delayed until May 29, 2020. Now? Well, we'll just have to wait and see.

by Shawn ZipayThis comes the same day the exhibitor list was leaked.
Geoff Keighley, creator of The Game Awards, revealed today that he will not be attending E3 2020. His decision to not attend this year's event will mark the first time in 25 years that the industry veteran will not be in attendance. It also means that he will not host the annual E3 Coliseum show. This was a regular event where Keighley would host a series of game developers in a rather informal Q&A, allowing them to talk freely...-

Earlier today, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus (Covid-19) a pandemic. Think of a pandemic as an epidemic that has a much greater reach. Epidemics could be considered to be localized to just a few places in the world. Pandemics signify that there is a global impact. For a while, Covid-19 was still considered an epidemic because it was largely contained to areas of China and mostly to those that travel. As the virus continues...-

Today, Sony has once again provided actual release dates for these titles...-
