I wouldn't think so mate, they have their cut off points, especially if they were already near finished or completed stage two of voting.

No, no no, it was the day after the submissions were due. I don't think it interfered with their voting but I'm not sure what their policy was concerning the deadline.

Edit: So how has the progress been going? I know I probably didn't win but I want to see some of the others that did.

The Steam servers are currently too busy to handle any more preloads of Left 4 Dead 2.
Please try again in a few hours.

The closer to the release, the busier the servers are. I bet Steam Left 4 Dead 2 game servers will fail to handle the traffic when the game is released.
