I didn't had a complain,, it's just something that isn't clear or confusing in the ROE.

So now we have server admins talkin smut along with the wannabe cheat police. Check peoples stats before flamin a whole community, read the posts too, BF2 lags nuff with all the extra crap runnin in it, and the codin for the game is even worse, as far as checkers, well go play checkers yourself scout, and come down off your lofty cloud, the TK punish system sucks jus as bad as the out of reach stats system. Don t like what we haveto say, go somewhere else with your lil checker board and go play mario or somethin. As far as addin more resorce intisive stuff to BF2, well read the posts, we don t want it, and if EA think they re gonna push this crap on us, well there are other games out there, and BF2 is hardly at the top. Common CoD Modern Warfare!!!

What rules noob? The ones you made up?? Why the hell should I follow rules made by some wanna be important person? Did you take this rule set to the community for approval?? Did you make sure the majority of BF2 players are ok with this or did you just decide thats the way its gonna be?? Are you now on the same level as the game designers?? If you are such a god send to gaming why didnt you just make your own game?? To busy trying to be the E-Police to learn how to code??

Now then to your checkers comment....

You are proving what kind of admin you will be with these types of comments. Really I dont know who blew up your balloon so big, but Im pretty sure I have the right to complain about "YOUR" rules all I want. My argument is sound, no one asked you to "help" us out and from what I see the majority here are in total disagreement with you, not only that but the ones disagreeing with you actually have some thought input as well, unlike the few positive "Way to go" "Great now we wont get bombed as much" "Your my hero" ********. Dont get me wrong I totally agree that some things are out of hand in game, but goin around forum to forum (Ive been in your forums to, where anyone who disagrees with you is promptly banned) tellin everyone how your gonna be ruling over them with your facade of an iron fist, isnt gonna gain you no cookies. Theres a big community out there and if you want things to be smooth maybe you should ask for some input from it before deciding you know whats best for all. Like Alazar Im 35 yo and I dont need nor did I ask for your big brother ********.

Atten: Whoever said follow my own advice, I dunno what you read there. You are making rules for the whole of a community. I made rules pertaining to competition, none of the players at my site had to pay any money to play and I went to the community and asked for input on all the rules I created. You just decided how things should be and are making them so, with no regard for anyone elses opinions. So dont try and bring me to your pitifull level. I am a community member and you are just whiners with low self esteem.

Mods are set to flow anytime now, POE2 will make your BF2 look like it was created by 6 year olds. FH2 the same and so many more. YOu can have your crappy ass rank system and your crappy ranked servers with your buggy crap and rule over it like the gods you think you are. Soon enough you will be ruling over the noobs because all the real gamers will have moved on.

Again GG. Your still losing ya know, you have no leg to stand on. Your motives are clear and everyone here who can see past their rank knows it.

They only look at certian servers. We will have an automated system that ties into the BF2 XML feeds that will red flag servers/players that we will then send admins to watch. We will also be supporting ranked server hosts alot better. When details come you will see there is much more we are doing then just watching a few servers.

if... [laughs]... if EA wanted to help the players [laughs again]. well EA doesnt want to help the players they only want the players' money, not the players' satisfaction (as far as bf2 is concerned). everything that you want from bf2 will probably be in bf2142, so they will not succumb to our demands. they will only put out another product for you to buy. EA is a company modelled after many before it, much like microsoft.

sorry to seemingly flame EA, but player after player asks for changes and very few come to realisation. for the changes that they have listened to... well, we have all experienced some of these changes, whether good or bad, since the game's release. (quick ex.: not being able to shoot while jumping down off an object. the jump button was never pushed, why cant we shoot in these instances? i'm sure there's a technical reason, since software is limited in many ways. i can adapt.)

and i've experienced bf2rs before, and was unimpressed because of the lack of attention to claims made. regardless, whether people like it or not, there are rules to all games. rules are changed all the time, usually to benefit the majority. i've experienced admins that kick people better than them, and that is at the opposite end of the spectrum of the "noob" argument about the bf2 roe "police" [laughs again]. while there are players that get mad that they lose all the time, there are also admins that abuse their "privileges" within a server that is not their own. even if it was their server, the software you purchase and run is not actually yours, you have bought a license to use it. EA can revoke that license if they want to, just like any other software you practically lease... like windows OS.

seriously, do you want some EA CompanyExec, in a suit that has never played the game, telling you how to play?

if EA wanted satisfied players they could easily review the custom mods/maps and certify some of them for use on ranked servers, but they will not because it will hurt their revenues.

Re: BF Rules of Engagement soon to engage!

I have already seen how Indian Scout handled himself on the competitions website. In fact, they pretty much shunned him away. He kind of reminds me of Sherrif Notingham. He even made it a point to create a nice shiney badge to remind everyone of how powerful he is.

I play for the fun of it. I play mods, custom maps and ranked servers. I could care less what my rank is. If I don't like the way the server is handled, I have the ultimate weapon at my disposal. I have the choice NOT to play on that server again. In fact, my group keeps a private list of servers we will never ever play on again. The best way to get on that list is to be an overbearing admin idiot.

Don't get me wrong, I want to keep things fair. However, my idea of fair and your idea of fair may not be the same thing. I have no problem with Base Raping. I find it even more challenging when I am being pounded into the ground. There was a simple fix for this, but EA in their wisdom decide the way BFV allowed all flags to be taken was not a good idea. Guess what? The bitching about base raping was hardly a problem with BFV. IMHO, adding uncapturable flags asks for base raping. An even smarter move was adding assets to the game that require you to actively fight in those uncapturable areas. Give me a freaking break.

I use to run a Ranked server. After reading all this crap about Big Brother watching my server, there is no way I would pay for another one.

Re: BF Rules of Engagement soon to engage!

We have already seen him (Indian -Checkers any1-Scout) and the other admins behavour. I do get fed up of these slappies admins thinkin they re kings because they got a server, and that badge scout has, well it is rather funny. Hey Cheat Police Nobody wants you and your not even needed. Your progy isn t even worth the time it took to write. What servers need are active admins to weed out the unfair play and take care of their servers, and alot of them do this already and don t need your help or retarded program.
Who do you think you are to tell us how we re gonna play and what we re gonna be able to and not able to do. Go play checkers together and leave BF2 to those of us WHO MADE THIS GAME WHAT IT IS!!! get the point yet? or do you need a picture?

Re: BF Rules of Engagement soon to engage!

Well evidently this isnt just another bitch fest and I think IndianScout and EA need to take a look at some of these forums (This topic is smokin everywhere) and decide who is more important the 100,000 supporters or 300,000 non supporters of this step. Its funny to watch the amount of critisizm go totally ignored by the E-Police, when there is so much of it coming with so little support. Few more things to question....

Wheres the oversight?? If your the e-police then who's the IBI (Internet Beruo of Intelligence) and who is over them? You have seen in this thread mention of over-zealous admins, what can you do to prove that wont be the case with your exalted officers? Think on it, if an over zealous admin in a server doesnt want you there for whatever reason the worst that happens, your kicked, maybe banned. If one of your E-Cops is overzealous that could mean a wipe of stats, unranking of a server, etc. As you see the consequences of your over adminning are far worse than what the average player is now forced to contend with.

I would still like to know where I agreed to allow you to police me? I dont remember voting for you or even seeing your views compared to anothers. Though it is quite evident that the majority here (and elsewhere) do not agree with your views. This being the case, what is your justification for your actions? What is your motivation and please don't insult me with your "Im here for the community" crap because Im not naive enough to believe that and the many posts here in opposition to your actions are the only evidence of that you will need.

You previously stated that "you have a sytem that checks all servers", who wrote the code? Will you release the code for examination by BF2 players who do not agree with your action and feel that it needs refiinement? Who did you consult in your developement of the ROE? If you are taking these actions for the BF2 community, don't you think that "WE" the community should have some say in what is and isnt implemented in your plan?

Yes I am very adamant in my position because I believe that unlike you I speak for a large portion of the "community". I have been adminning a server in BF2 since it was released and have yet to have a complaint from anyone, I also know many other admins of ranked BF2 servers and they have never had any complaints either. I currently Head up 3 ladders and a major infantry cup, I have talked with more than 600 BF2 players and have heard the vast majority of gameplay complaints (I have ven been offered a free forum and platform with which to oppose this step) Im not some forum whore and I rarely get involved in the whiney lameness that persists in most MP Games. In this case however, you are an unwanted and unasked for entity imposing on my right and rights of thousnads of others, to play the game the way want to within the guildelines already set forth by EA and the one we agreed to when we clicked the "I Agree" button.

I'd like to see if IndianScout even plays this game, if that is his bf2 account name he has a whopping 8.5 hours played. I bet he has less than 50 if he actually has another account. I think he's just a forum troll with a power trip.

My clan runs 2 64 slot ranked servers, we will ban any and all BFROE "MPs" on site. We don't need help running the servers that WE pay for. We take care of stat padders, griefers, and tkers ourselves. The last thing we need is a bunch of nazi's with egos coming around and telling us how to do things.
