I am no way going to buy this game. Its a disgrace to this great series. Some people had problems with parts past games, but at least they showed realism, required talent and were fun.

So, this is turing into UT, etc...? This sucks. I don't want to play a killfest game with lasers and robots with legs. I want guns and tanks.

Thats what Battlefield was, and my mind thats what Battlefield is.

EA needs to make this another sieres. Battlefield should be semi-realistic war.

I think futuristic stuff is kinda cool, since I dont own UT or Halo, but I definitely think this shouldn't be its own game. Not a booster pack either. An expansion pack would be perfect for this, like SF. Around $30 would be the price I would pay for that.

Well, that would be the ET series.

Yes that was good a while back but for now its woefully out of date. This isnt any different from Goldeneye fans who cling on to old memories. Perfect Dark zero turned out to be really bad.

Ah, but Perfect Dark was awesome, too. PDZ was the "money to lose" clause. They had a good thing, but they screwed it up, this is as opposed to most game companies that can't get a good game to save their lives. It's harder to screw up a streak than make a new one, so I'm looking forward to ET:QW. If the reviews say, "RUN FOR THE HILLS!" then I won't get it.

As opposed, this BF2142 seems to be a real rip of QW, as if EA/DICE scrambled to "get a competitor to market". In this case, unless the reviews say, "This game is the Second Coming of Christ.", I probably won't get it.
