A battlefield game set in that time stage would never get off well. On top of everything else I could add... ...EA would never be able to make a release by the fall of 06. It's all a big joke.

Hmmm, as for the video , shame on EA and DICE for releasing an offical movie that was sooooo alpha in state. Bad move on their part. As for BF2142 itself, time will tell. I cant see it appealing to many original BF fans. But hey making new customers is what business is all about. And lastly, to all of you Quake wars fan boys........pfffffff, man go somewhere else. The f**ing game is no where near out and all we've seen is some totally scripted video which all of you should know that we've been duped by those before! Everyone thought Joint ops was going to take out BF and Soldner , ya that was supposed to take out BF, bla bla bla bla.......I dont believe **** till I see it.

Dont get me wrong hear I love the concept and it does look good but come on this has got to be FAKE. If EA is really going to release this in 2006 I would be blown away at what pure WHORES they are to the franchise. I think the next BF game should come out in 2008. I call FAKE!

Fall 2006 = Translation Sometime around Christmas 2142
Oh and I see it as an Expansion otherwise the year would be 3142 instead of re-using the number 2. A 40 dollar stand alone version.

To tell you the truth, I saw this coming the moment I saw mod teams making all the sci fi themes mods for BF2. I been waiting when the mods will come out. But I would never of guess EA releasing this so soon. But no way will it come out at Fall 2006. Even if it come out in December, I won't get it until at least half a year to fix the bugs. Heck they still can't get BF2 right.

The mixing of the mechwarriors/ghost recon with BF is interesting. But I for one will just to stick with BF2. If I wanted something that furturestic I would have got all the "other" games that have already tackle the concept.

Oh and I hope this is not a hoax, because somebody is going to get sued by EA lol
