Ya i finally got mine to work, just open ea downloader and click on edit gamespy nickname, and change it to whatever your ingame- login to bf2 name is. Now my password is always the same so i dont know if that matters but mine is fixed and i have played for a couple of minutes and i really like it.

not too shabby for 10 bucks!

well skaroo me. i cannot buy the thing. i have tried and i get the crazy "address messed up" error after i enter in my gamespy id.

my id matches my INGAME name but not account name.

any one else?

Anyone have the problem of using the EA downloader and it downloading, installing. and then not finding it after launching bf2? Thank you EA for supplying the public with another award winner. :hmm:

yep. i installed, rebooted and not when i try to join a server i get "mapnotauthorized" and a link that takes me to buy the freaking game!

SAWEET! robbed of 10bucks! cant even play now.

Well, i just got off the phone with EA. how fun is that? not very. the tech agent decided to get into a yelling match with me because he is an incompetent mongoloid. but anywho...the problem in which i had earlier i believe can be remedied by uninstalling and reinstalling battlefield 2 and all the exp packs and updates. sounds like about 2 hours of pure installing joy for me. Have fun guys. thanks for your advice.

I can d/l it, but not install it. It gets to the client file on Great wall, and stops with an error maessage saying "catastrophic faliure"

Any Ideas?
