People have said that you can still download it. Just use a country that speaks your language I think (I think thats the reason for doing it like that)...like NZ would chose AUS.

yeah i think its a case of doing that.

i was thinking about selling EF on ebay so people who dont have credit cards etc but have paypal could do it through me, i would only need to register them and enter there GS name and send them details and charge a small fee say £5.99 to cover costs ..

Re: Battlefield 2: Euro Force Released

Well Euro Force is absolutely pants unless your like Vehicle whoring. I played smoke screen and NOONE was on foot. NOONE. Everybody was in Plane, heli or tank. Guess how many times i was killed with a bullet? ZERO times. I was bombed, rocketed, tank shelled, stingered. Thank you EA you have totally ruined any chance of infantry play. What's the point having 6 new guns in Euro force, eveybodies in friggin vehicles all the time.
Plus, i can't use Euro Force weapons in Vanilla BF2 how crap is that.
              Very disappointed.

Bet all plane whores are loving it.

Re: Battlefield 2: Euro Force Released

Nice to see some armour maps coming thru. BF42 had a few of those and it was nice to get out and have a proper armour battle. Not like there isnt enough city maps out there already

Re: Battlefield 2: Euro Force Released

I just read on another Battlefields news site that they got threatened by EA.

They have to delete "non-EA-friendly" posts by people on their forum. Possibly even ban the people for being "EA-critical".
Also comments in the news section were not allowed to put down EA or any of their products anymore.
The news themselves can't be "EA-critical" either.

If they do not comply, they will have to "face the consequences", whatever that means.

This post will probably be deleted very fast, i might even be banned for telling you this. And no, im not kidding, this happened just the other day. I have a suspicion something similar is happening to this site. Is the site's new owner, "MY-IS" aware of, maybe even involved, in this?

                  I'm hoping not...

Im download this booster pack and install it. But i cant play it.
                    Help?

I have also this problem, but my bf2 account ingame name is the same as the gamespy account name by ea downloader, so I guess my settings are fine. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Re: Battlefield 2: Euro Force Released

I'm not gonna get this... not many people play sf and I know less will play the booster so the amount of euro servers will be very low in Australia.
I felt jibbed after getting sf so I doubt I will get this. Only useful thing about sf are the unlocks...

The easiest way is to load up the EA downloader and login. There you will see the info to get the manual and below that is a link to edit your gamespy nickname (which is your ingame player name).

You can also go to the ea forums and login. Then on the top right, you will see "Change Name, Logout" and an area showing your gamespy name. This name must be the same as your bf2 player name.

                        That should solve your problem.

I have to agree with you 100%. Why have all those sweet new weapons and you cant use them. I mean cmon EA you only gave us 3 maps...Talk about getting burned out in 1 day wanting to try out the new weapons. Myself I think we who purchased this game have every right to inform others about this product and if websites want to start banning people believe me in the long run it will hurt EA and whoever is banning people. This booster pack is worthless and I myself will never buy another EA published game. LONG LIVE the upcoming ARMED ASSAULT created be the same folks who created the one and only Operation Flashpoint who in turn created the best FPS Military based game ever.

I have done this and says The account name you entered is in use. Please try another account name." Any Ideas? Or did I just blow 10 bucks?

Ive already spotted glitchs that are gonna need patching up

The EF Tiger chopper's rudder control is far to sensitive on ground and can flip you over on take off.

Other than a couple of things though im a fan, mainly cos most peeps in the other tanks are just plain dopey.
