The Point of Existence 2 mod team is back today with their weekly update. As always, they have released a number of new images. Take a look:<blockquote>Our first render this week consists of the RGD-5 Fragmentation grenade & the RDG-2 Smoke grenades which the Ukrainian team will be outfitted with.<p>We have already shown the Mi-24 a few weeks back but we wanted to showcase the additional skins that were developed by Devil. Even with his busy schedule with work he was able to get these additional skins completed.</blockquote><center><a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/ukrainegrenades.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_ukrainegrenades.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/mi2459.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_mi2459.jpg"></a></center><blockquote>For our weekly map screenshots we have some more screenshots of the level named Lutsk. This is not a new map as it was formerly known as River Village and was changed to match the area that it represents.</blockquote><center><a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/lutsk1.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_lutsk1.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/lutsk2.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_lutsk2.jpg"></a><br><a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/lutsk3.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_lutsk3.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/lutsk4.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_lutsk4.jpg"></a></center><blockquote>The next weapon that Seigman has been able to get in to the build is the Stinger hand portable anti-air missile. Will this be a weapon someone will be able to pick-up?? Guess you’ll have to wait and see!<p>Our final group of screenshots consists of the T-55 AGM main battle tank. Seigman has been very busy with getting things in game and has done a great job with the T-55. The T-55 screenshots were taken from the Lutsk level by SgtWedge.</blockquote><center><a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/stinger1.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_stinger1.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/stinger2.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_stinger2.jpg"></a><br><a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/t551.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_t551.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?img=news/images/t553.jpg"><img src="/news/images/thumb_t553.jpg"></a></center><br>Another impressive showing from the PoE2 team. Re: Point of Existence 2 Mod Update
constructive critisism on the graveyard pic:
Those buildings look a little odd just standing in the middle of the field. I think it needs like a water well and maybe a lone power line that stretches to outside the map. Also put a shed back there or something and a rickety fence around some of the buildings.
and: are you going for an old (like 1800s) graveyard or a modern one? The stones look in good condition and so do the buildings. I think some rain stains near the rooves with some rusty trails going down would do some good =)
basically: it looks like a rainy map - but i don't see any rain damage on the objects.
also - is it possible to light up a portion on the map to represent that break in the clouds?
other than me bitching, you guys always do top quality work. It always looks good, even if the ignorant americans (like myself) can't name the vehicles =)Comment

Agree on the Grave yard, I was going to comment on that.Originally posted by troybobconstructive critisism on the graveyard pic:

Re: Point of Existence 2 Mod Update
One of my first static sets for BF2 was this graveyard, sadly it didnt get as much attention texture wise as I would have liked. Hopefully I will have time to add a dirt layer to the tomb and the tombstones. I appreciate the input on the statics though :) This is one place that many mods neglect, I am trying very hard to make our mod stand out in this way.Comment
