US Intervention Mod Update

We have been sent a new update today from the US Intervention mod. They are in the process of moving to a new site and have some new media to show. Here's what they had to say:
Hello everyone, we're back with some news. We have good and bad news today, I'll start with the bad.
Due to some problems we have had with our old hosting service, we are moving our website to a more reliable source. This source is the jarHedz community. They are hard at work putting the site and forum together. The second bad news is that our coders, Icemagician296 and CheetahShrk, took the decision to leave. We respect that and hope the best for their modders carreer. We will keep you posted as to the developments of this situation. If anything happens to change, that will effect our release date, we will inform you.
That said, it's time for the good news. The next "ready-for-coding" vehicle is our BRDM-2. It will come in 3 variants: the reconnaisance, the AT-5 (anti tank) and the SA-9 (anti air).
The USI team would like to thank Jarhedz for their support. They have been providing us with a TS and test server for several months now, and are workin on our new site and forum. Working with them is a real pleasure. Feel free to visit them at www.jarhedz.com. Special thanks to TitanFire and Bren from jarHedz for their hard work.

Glad to see some more impressive work leading into their upcoming release. Stay tuned for that as well as more USI news.

Just wait till you see next weeks skins (Hope they show Mine! None of my stuff has been shown :-( we should have a "thanks to MarkHawk week) That would be rad.

        AA is very sexy!

The last 3 skins I think we saw were Pete's... He is the man.

                Re: US Intervention Mod Update

I heard in another thread that the coders also took their work with them...so my question is, what exactly did you lose?

Also, I remember seeing BRDM-2 on your old website with a much lighter skin, so is this just a re-skin of the original model?
                p.s.: It looks much better...

Spawndemon...the last picture(side view of the AA variant) is the size of a thumbnail...

Red: The coders were kind and professional enough to leave their work behind. Kudos to them for that :)

Blue: I believe this is just a re-skin. The original model was perfect, just it was given a temporary skin.

Thanks for the support and comments guys!

You are correct, the BRDM-2 was our first vehicles to be put into Battlefield 2. It was a test vehicle and input I believe even before the editor came out.

It does look much better I agree, Pete is an excellent skinner and hope to match his work and learn more about how he does it.

Did some research, Look at these orginals and tell me things have not come a ong way. So many people were so negitive about USI its first few updates, one even called it very "Uninspirational"

It's a different model, the model was in the beta forum for ages, surprised you didn't see it.
