This is complete BS! Patching a patch? WTF is that about...maybe someone should look into this a bit more before a release. I have been waiting for the patch that was going to make it fun to play but it didn't seem to make a difference to me except that you can't jump/shoot anymore. What about the noob tube and the C4 on the ATV? This is what ****es me off about the game yet they say its fixed???? Come on EA, you want us to spend more $$ on a damn booster pack now? Right.

"Patching a patch," hah thats funny, but true. But if you think about it when you log into steam and it updates for Counterstrike take for example, that's basically like patching a patch.

As for the rest of your message, you're acccusing them of saying it's fixed, yet their admitting it's not, thus they are working to release a hotfix...don't know what your argument is there. And as far as spending money on the booster pack, that's solely your decision. If you don't want to spend the money, then don't, simple as that. Though I don't like the delay of the booster pack again or the fact that another patch has to be released because of a major bug that should have been caught, they are doing it to make the game better. Just need to have a little patience. The delay is for the improvement of the booster I'm sure, so that when you do spend the money for it, it is worth it.

i just hope that the crazy aa(no i dont mean too effective, i mean screwed up), not being able to pickup or detonate claymore/c4, and the tank cannon/at missiles going through or doing no damage bugs get fixed, because they are the most imporatant!

Well I am just mad. If you release a patch usually it does not need a hotfix right away to make it work...seriously. If time was spent more on fixes and making sure that everything works instead of making the website really cool looking and telling us about the upcoming packs to buy that would get more ppl to play. I am just venting here. I know its my decision to buy booster packs but if you want the full effect of the game I think you have to.

Understandable, and you're right, a patch shouldn't need a hotfix to correct bugs that are new to the patch. But you also got to understand from their perspective, they are so pressured to make things perfect for the BF community. With a community that is already aggravated and somewhat hostel towards them all ready, it's a lot to carry on their back to make everything perfect. Mistakes happen, yes it should have been fixed but as for right now, we just have to be patient and know they are fixing the problems now. Only time will tell my friend.

As for a side note on the topic of the pressure gaming companies face...think about how large of a fanbase the battlefield series has acquired. They truly are put to the test to make the game as great as possible and try to correct what the community asks them too.

Using another gaming company/franchise for example, think about Blizzard and the Starcraft series. Probably the most played RTS still to this day, left open for a sequel, and yet for years, never had one made. Though there could be many answers as to why it hasn't been made, think about the flak they will take if they screw up that sequel. IMO, Starcraft is the best RTS and many others share that view, you screw up a sequel to that, and you're doomed in a way. Just something to consider, all the pressure put on the companies, from another perspective.

On another side note...I want Starcraft 2! :p

I for one am happy that they are letting some CLANS do the testing for the next patch. Now the true testing of a patch will happen instead of the "in-house" so called testing they do.

I just used ASE and it shows 3345 servers with 21776 players. Not bad but a long way from 52,000.

Added: Transport helis that turn on by themselves. They're running but no one's inside. If you go in and then go back out it stops. f

I've noticed a lot of crazy movement from all heat guided missiles.

The automatic unzoom of the sniper rifle is pretty annoying.

Like I said before I hadn't noticed any of the bugs before. But now it seems like everything has a bug associated with it. Hopefully the hotfix comes out soon and makes 1.2 what it's supposed to be.

I hate to make a suggestion that isn't a fix to an earlier problem, but I was just on a server that had really bad base raping. Maybe there should be a death zone on untakable bases for anyone who's not special forces, and if you're special forces and in a vehicle, theres a timer that counts down whenever you're in it, and it doesn't reset (so you wouldnt have him jumping in and out). Probably silly to suggest it considering everything else...

No actually I like your idea. FH in bf42 had something like this, if you entered a baserape area ie main base, you died after like three seconds. Its something I think all mod teams should think about; I know I am...

base rape is part of the game, and no admin should have the right to take that away. almost every uncapturable has multipule spawn locations, you always have the oppertunity to kill the base raper.
