The team behind the <a href="http://forgottenhope.bf1942files.com/main.php?flash=no&lang=english&module=" target="_blank">Forgotten Hope 2</a> mod are back again today with a new update. They have some great new media to showcase as always. Here's what they had to say:<blockquote>First up is the Fairey Swordfish Mk. I. The Swordfish was a torpedo bomber, used by the Royal Navy during World War II. Entering service in 1936, its served throughout the war, despite its old-fashioned biplane design. The Swordfish, or "Stringbag" as it came to be known by its crews, was slow and vulnerable to enemy fighters and flak. Even so, Swordfish scored many remarkable successes, taking part in the successful strike against the Italian fleet at Taranto, in 1940, participating in the sinking of the Bismarck in 1941, and playing an important role in the Battle for the Atlantic, as well as the struggle to control the Mediterranean supply lanes to North Africa.<p>The FH2 Fairey swordfish is based partly on the original FH swordfish, which was modeled and skinned by Lobo. Beautiful work...seeing swordfish was really unexpected, since the first release is going to be in the deserts of Africa.

The bunker looks cool too, can't see the whole thing though.

Beautiful work...seeing swordfish was really unexpected, since the first release is going to be in the deserts of Africa.

The bunker looks cool too, can't see the whole thing though.

AFAIK the british used the swordfish extensively in the mediterranean during tht period - particularly against the italian navy and also in a support role - it doesnt surprise me tht it is in there looks fantastic!

EDIT: lol just realized it says all this in the write up lol.... why would you be surprised double?

I don't think he knows very much about past or recent conflicts for that matter :p . But the Swordfish was used defiantly. Didn't you play Desert Rose in FH1?! Raid on Taranto anyone? :p

lol uh60 I do remember those times. I play more fh1 than bf2. fh2 is what's keepin' me from uninstalling bf2. I cannot wait. well yeah I can as long as it satisfies my need for fun when its released.

its unreal the amount of renders and other c**p that gets put out by mods. How about just working on the mod instead?

Now that is just an ignorant post... Think a little about what you just said. If they show nothing at all, then why would anyone even care about the mod in the first place? I guarantee that Chevrolet or Ford would start to lose a LOT of sales if they just stopped advertising altogether. Guarantee it.

Forgotten Hope 2 will bring some real WWII atmosphere in this game. The gameplay is good, though I am really missing the true WWII atmosphere in this game.

wow.... this is the same little nooblet tht runs around asking when mods are coming out and cusses when he doesnt get an answer - gee i wonder what a render is - oh wait, it is a picture of WORK ON THE MOD.... if you had taken a millisecond to think out what you were saying as you were saying it this would have been apparent to you.... why not wait till you have something valid to say in future?
