The team behind the Forgotten Hope 2 mod are back again today with a new update. They have some great new media to showcase as always. Here's what they had to say:
First up is the Fairey Swordfish Mk. I. The Swordfish was a torpedo bomber, used by the Royal Navy during World War II. Entering service in 1936, its served throughout the war, despite its old-fashioned biplane design. The Swordfish, or "Stringbag" as it came to be known by its crews, was slow and vulnerable to enemy fighters and flak. Even so, Swordfish scored many remarkable successes, taking part in the successful strike against the Italian fleet at Taranto, in 1940, participating in the sinking of the Bismarck in 1941, and playing an important role in the Battle for the Atlantic, as well as the struggle to control the Mediterranean supply lanes to North Africa.
The FH2 Fairey swordfish is based partly on the original FH swordfish, which was modeled and skinned by Lobo. He remodeled and reskinned it to bring it up to FH2 standards of detail and quality, and ctz contributed an all-new normal map.

Next up is a defensive bunker, of German design. The original model was by Lobo and is also of FH for BF1942 vintage. He remodeled it for FH2, and created an entirely new skin, based on textures provided by Rad.

Great looking stuff as always. Re: Forgotten Hope 2 Mod Update
AFAIK the british used the swordfish extensively in the mediterranean during tht period - particularly against the italian navy and also in a support role - it doesnt surprise me tht it is in thereOriginally posted by DoubleVeeBeautiful work...seeing swordfish was really unexpected, since the first release is going to be in the deserts of Africa.
The bunker looks cool too, can't see the whole thing though.

EDIT: lol just realized it says all this in the write up lol.... why would you be surprised double?Comment

Now that is just an ignorant post... Think a little about what you just said. If they show nothing at all, then why would anyone even care about the mod in the first place? I guarantee that Chevrolet or Ford would start to lose a LOT of sales if they just stopped advertising altogether. Guarantee it.Comment

Re: Forgotten Hope 2 Mod Update
wow.... this is the same little nooblet tht runs around asking when mods are coming out and cusses when he doesnt get an answer - gee i wonder what a render is - oh wait, it is a picture of WORK ON THE MOD.... if you had taken a millisecond to think out what you were saying as you were saying it this would have been apparent to you.... why not wait till you have something valid to say in future?Originally posted by odinits unreal the amount of renders and other c**p that gets put out by mods.
