Looks like what EA meant when they said they would give mods support, they meant "we'll be releasing expansions to directly compete with you for players."

The renders aren't bad, I give them credit there. But it's just going to be plagued with the same things vanilla BF2 is sadly. That is, unless patch 1.2 works a miracle.

I think that Helicopter is neither a Kiowa or a Gazelle...although it looks like a gazelle with the exception of the tail rotor..

That's not surprising, the Gazelle and the Ecureuil were both designed by Aerospatiale over 25 years ago (and Aerospatiale has since become Eurocopter)

This one is an AS350 Ecureuil, it's already been said further up.

Anyone notice that all of the extra content is filling up the game with all of the exact vehicles we used to have in DC. Sweet Keep em comming.

I used the love the Mirage, Frogfoot and A10 in DC. I just hated it when the enemy got the Frogfoot LOL. That thing kicked ass.

Ive got the nasty feeling that they are not going to do the A-10s cannon any justice, i hope that really pay attention to the particle effects when the rounds hit down and actually make it look devastating. ill be sad if it simply looks like all the other jet cannons:cry:

Though I do think that at least USI will be out some time before the 28 of March O_O

Think that a dev over at the USI forums said something about "send someone else to get candy for you on Valentines Day" .... or something like that. Might mean a mid feb release (hopefully)

the vehicles are:

AS 350 Ecureuil (civilian helicopter maby by "Eurocopter", it's going to be used by the chinees, look at the side at the start of the tail)
SU-39 "Frogfoot"
A-10 "Thunderbolt II"
Q-5 (no NATO designation)
AV-8B "Harrier"

I'm no expert, and this isn't even an important point, but isn't the Frogfoot the SU-25?

There was a link that someone posted in the Europe Booster pack of a foreign website that posted these pictures as being part of the Europe pack and not the armor pack...But these planes make more sense in an armour type addon...If anyone knows for sure which ones these are from and not just from "scouring" the FTP of EA, let us know.
