Maybe make it an option and for now put some thing in the server rules. I was in a game where everyone one was using Eryx, AT, C4, Blackhawks and it was fun, no one minded becasue everyone was ding it while racing.

I also played with this one guy and we had a great time with me racing and him trying to land the blackhawk on me, then switching roles. Again it was fun but I can see how if you didn't want that then you might find it annoying so I think it should be an option not a feature.

Yea, it's not so bad if everyone agrees to play it that way. Could do with two modes. A 'race' mode and a 'hunt' mode.

I am trying to install this on an unranked dedicated server controlled via BF2CCD - when I launch the server with a battle racer map loaded, the Dedicated server refuses to run (blank window)?

How do I get this mod working with a dedicated server?

The song is made by the finnish band Eläkeläiset: http://www.humppa.com/.
The song we used in Battleracer is called Kahvipakettihumppa. All Eläkeläiset's songs are coverhits, and Kahvipakettihumppa is in fact a cover song of Neil Young's: Rocking in the Free World:)
Eläkeläiset has made a lot of strange fun songs, but this one, is one of the few wich can be downloaded for free from their website:p

madmaca: goto maplist, clear maplist, add both race_map and beach_race to your maplist under the BattleRacer mod selection. appply custom game mode and enter: gpm_rally
Save profile (do not apply it) and start your server. Make SURE that auto balance is off and team switch at end of round/map is off!

It worked! - thanks

Now I have it working correctly - it is running on the 50klicks unranked server at the moment: 193.60.3.105:16567

We are UK based, so drop in if you fancy a go :)
