Mach10 of the Battle Racer mod team has contacted us with information about his newly released mod, Battle Racer. This mod will allow players to race in dune buggies through a map that contains checkpoints and a finish line. Here is what Mach10 had to say about the mod:<br><br><blockquote>Battle Racer v1.1 has gone public. This *almost* total conversion mod allows players to jump into buggies on new rally racing maps and play head-to-head. A little surprise is under the hood of these innocent looking buggies, a limited use nitrous booster allows the players to accelerate to incredible speeds. Racers must drive from the Start line to each of the Check Points on the maps and return to the finish line, 3 laps will complete your race. The first three racers to complete the race will be displayed at the end of the round, and the race will start again. This installer includes all files for the client and server.
