The latest <a href="http://www.ea.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/editorial.jsp?sssdmh=dm24.80676&src=jan_06_newslet ter_02" target="_blank">Battlefield newsletter</a> has been released and features 6 images of new weapons and vehicles to expect in the first booster pack. You can find most of the information from the newsletter below:

The battle expands in the first booster pack to 2005’s hit game Battlefield 2. Take the powerful new Euro Force into action against MEC and Chinese armies as you battle for control of all-new Asian locations. The action escalates to a fever pitch with the latest high-tech vehicles and weapons including attack helicopters, battle tanks, assault rifles, and much more.

Available this coming February only through EA downloader!

God damn it, I was not going to buy it, but after seeing that they included HK21 MG!!! M4 shotgun and The AWP aka L96A1, I'm not sure if I want to spend my 10 bucks on it.

Hmm, the amount of weapons to maps ratio is kinda absurd... They should release more that just 3. Honestly, they could also take custom made maps and make them Ranked.

Well, dude you must remember, there supposedly coming out with 2 booster packs so you should be satisfied!

I think I'll deffinetly get it, because all those new guns and maps and tanks and all, I can't resist, and you should be thanking DICE for even makin a booster pack with more guns and all that's cheaper than the SF exp. pack, and stop crying about EA!:)

thats 2 of us that have figured it out, just need to convert everyone else. the cool side is that u prob can use the new weapons in vanilla BF2, woot i cant wait to get pwned...

PoE and other free mods will blow this away. No need to waste a single cent on this. The free mods will offer more content and be free of charge... it does not get any better than that.

I doubt you'll b e able to use these guns ingame, thats a step too far and would ruin to the game totally. I'm going to go for PoE and other such mods that over way much more than any other booster pack than you have to pay for. Just a few more levels and weapons, you're better off getting a free mod.
