Re: Get Paid to Play BF2 Interview
Google Earth markets their product as giving you the ability to view any place in the world with the help of periodic satellite updates. This of, course, is misleading by your standards because many of the places cannot be seen due to security violations in different countries.
This is an example of many times when a marketing decision is made to attract attention to the people.
Like I said earlier, your level of expertise in this area, among others, seems to be very low. Verbally attacking a company for using catchy names is lunacy. It may be misleading to you, but I see nothing misleading. It's a matter of opinion.
This problem was reported among many server owners. We have recieved many emails with server owners more than happy to hop onboard. You judge based on your personal perception of reality, while I judge based on public opinion. There is a difference.
Not our problem. We do not control TotalBF2's new postings. I was the only one in the company that has even heard of your system because I am always visiting fansites and mod sites (I'm on the PRMM staff, by the way).
We had no quarrel with you. You have a quarrel with us.. for some.. reason.
Many server owners are more than excited and understand why we must charge for such a service. Apparently, you do not. If your endeavor grows to the point where we have grown without even a launch, you will understand. Until then, we can only debate, I guess.
1 article regarding the launch of getpaid2play. We have helped the TotalBF2 staff get into contact with an EA representative. And yes, our ads are in there in place of google ads. The difference? It's called marketing buddy.
Yes, my other name on this forum is artnez.com. I have a considerable amount of posts for someone that spends alot of time working. I'm also on staff with Project Reality and have some 300 or so posts there.
I've been gaming since I was 7 and part of online gaming communities as a poster and game enthusiast since 1998.
Money does make people blind, apparently.
Or so you think :)
EDIT: We have an experienced group of individuals here that know how to market themselves. Don't get angry with us if you cannot do the same.

and the 'Ranked Server Problem' was actually your ranked server rental problem, as you guys stated in the 'desperate text'
For over Months, we have been trying to get the word of ABR out to the community. Despite email, forum posts etc, even TotalBF2 didnt pay 1 line attention to the project. so dont start about Shamelessly plugging my website. you should be the one that is ashamed! for not spending 1 newspost of attention to it!

Bottomline is: you ask serverowners, money for populating their servers.
i see no free service in there.
i see no free service in there.
Only since PRMM agreed, finally ABR news came up on TotalBF2.
but any-indepth research on ABR, or news? NADA.
but i did see like about 5 articles about MYiS, how handy....

with a average joindate of Dec 2005, and [MYiS] infront of your name you really have the guts to call yourself a patron?

Sidenote About 'Tracking' stats, if you track stats externally without software, there never can be any exact stats. it is always an estimate this way.
