Was it me or was the Brits speaking english? Er... No Brit accent? :laugh:

Hope that was to keep the languages a bit secret by putting them all on English voices... It will suck if the Brits don't have a bit of an accent though.

Looks Fantastic though, love the Grapple.

I'll put them all on English only anyway. Just personal preference to have all the voices the same, takes 1 variable out of the equation.

If you always hear the same voices, then it's a little better for me.

Don't think I'll buy this expansion, for a number of reasons.. main two, I remember buying expansions for BF42 and they were never supported, and the retail copy is still buggy with no mention of any patch coming to fix it.. some minor notes, small maps for close combat fighting is cool, but with a zip line and grappling hook, won't everyone be camping on buildings.. nightvision can go to h*ll, if I wanted that I'd go play ghost recon.. overall just not what I wanted in an expansion, I have a lot more gripes, but I'll save those for another time, help speed up that scroll by, so you an get to the EA a**kisser posts.

Ill stick with buggy retail. they dont deserve my money.

all computer games are buggy when they are released, thats why we have a nifty thing called the internet to help us download the needed patches. if you didnt want a buggy game, then why did you buy the retail?


personally, i think the SF expansion was extremely well done. i was a little skeptical when i heard DiCE Canada was doing it, but they did a good job, eh?

no foremarms and hands on the video for the ATV... s*cks really hard, it reminds me of those old crappy moto games in 2D lol. I mean come on I hope it was not the retail version because 10 vehicles like that... didnt saw the sea doo but I hope its better

also there is no mention if vehicles if lights on/off possibilities, because that would add a lot ! (imagine that buggy with three guns on it and lights on )

I don't know, I mean.. some things looks cool, but i hate the fact that the British are using some american stuff, I want to see some of their own vehicles(Chally 2, Warrior,) and wtf? The sounds off the Bmp-3 IFV are the same exact sounds as the Chinese Type 98 tank from bf2. Don't get me wrong though some things look good, and some don't.

From what I've read what amount of memory am I going to needs 1.5 gb - 2gb! Windows XP 4 GB virtual space is 2 GB for the application and 2 GB for system. We are going to be hitting the limit...

They can put all the lipstick they want on the pig, but at the end of the day it's still a pig.

i don't get it. the more that i look at the picture the more it looks like the current game with darker sky and maybe some new vehicles, guns and skins! their's a bf2 night mod out already and it's for free.
