Had eight people on coms last night who all said the same thing. If you're saying I sneeze everytime I'm trying to use the mouse, that's forgivable, but to say I can't click directly on a spawn point, you're a bit silly m8. :laugh:

Did you guys ever get the message to open a site? This is what it gives me, http://eapusher.dice.se/image.asp?lang=English and it's not showing up at all.

Btw to all you people that think the AA isnt overpowering now, tell me HOW HARD WAS IT ORINGINALLY TO TAKE DOWN A CHOPPER? and im not talking about blackhawks, we all know those needed to be nerfed. Im talking about attack choppers.

Like i said in my previous post, Humvees, Jets, other Choppers, Anit-Tank whores, Tanks, hell even GRENADE LAUNCHERS.... there was plenty of an arsenal ive had to compete with in flying a chopper..... now that stingers DONT EVER MISS......... its just ridiculous....... it makes me not want to even try and fly which is a shame cause thats why i love bf2 so much is for the sake of flying. You infantry noobs who play on karkand dont think its a big deal cause you dont know what its like trying to dodge ever thing on the map shooting at you with Chaff that doesnt work.

Afaik, it's to show the "community updates" etc. much like when you log onto Steam, you get the news window. Same idea. Although I think it's a little borked atm.

OK, I understand the idea behind the new ranking system. Players that didn´t had time to play much had to play forever to get new unlocks. But I thought the old system was way better. Everyone ist Sergant or higher now. Why did we all worked so hard for ranks and unlocks if everyone can achive it now without problem? It´s absolutly no fun anymore to be after unlocks and points. Actually, I´ve got 5 unlocks now. Every class I play I´ve got the unlock; so why should I play on ranked servers anymore?
I think thant the patch somehow changes a lot more; many will not play on ranked servers anymore and if choppers are so easy to kill now many won´t fly them anymore. The real problems, the planes, seem to be as hard to hit from the ground as before. And I had the feeling that tankes are easier to kill by AT missiles as well. I had more 1 shot kills yesterday than ever before.

just ignore and don´t open it. it closed my BF2 and tried to open a website that wasn´t even working.

My thoughts on the new patch:
First off...no problems at all installing the patch or running the game.
I had a little stuttering in karkland and did get dropped once... no mention of fixing random drops but it could be my 7mbit connection.
So the patch as far as i'm concerned is fine...however...major change in game play just plain sucks....
Commanders get no kills for arty any more...that's ********. Who in the hell would want to be a commander now. For the points!?
I'm a gunnery sargent now. who cares about points. Jesus these ea/dice decision makers are idiots. Did anyone ask us what we thought? **** I've played this game for 5 ****ing days now! The game is now half what it was in 1.02. It's just another arcade shoot-em up now. flying a helicoptor is like flying through a mine field. It's absurd...and that's if you have the patience to wait 2 minutes for the damn thing to spawn.
So it's not the code i'm disappointed with...the server lists work etc...favorites... great. But the game is ruined. We're all a bunch of sargents running around and nobody wants to be commander anymore. If anyone had told me their plan I would have told them exactly what is happening already in these servers.
WAKE UP EA! Try to listen to the people who actually take the time to talk about your games. Chances are, if we're happy...you're going to sell the game to a hell of a lot more people.

Yeah indeed, the link is dead. Man how stupid are they at EA? Like i give a #$%^ if EA wants to say me something. If i want to know something i'll look it up >> get off my back ffs.

Also, it seems The all seeing eye doesnt work anymore with bf2 since that message appeares. How on earth can i remove the stupid empty message box from appearing again so ASE can connect me to the game....

Does any one get a prefix box at the top of their log in details ??? if so hat do you need to put in it or have i installed the patch wrong

Really? I thought the Commander won´t just get Teamkills anymore if artillery hits his own. If he doesn´t get any points for artillery kills anymore I totally agree with you.

Well, patch executed just fine, but...

No more ASE entering game. ...wtf, EA?

And we experienced some werry anoying thing yesterday evening.

Me and mine gunner in helicopter were knocked down on a regular basis, out of nowhere...
Not even a warnong sound... yust blasted...

I dont know is it a bug, glitch or something else but we were blasted in the air, on the carier, no warning no nothing just exploded.

It was so anoying that i exited game and smoked cigarete to calm down! :)

And yes, is taking too damn long to respawn that chopper now!!!!!
