Wake Island 2007 is a disgrace to the other BF2 maps out there in quality, it's one of the ugliest maps I've set my eyes on.

I may be a little bit biast.

Well, there wasn't much they could do with it if they were to pay propper homage to the original.

I think the real shame is you can't drive the BIG boats around like in the original. Driving the destroyer up to the enemy airbase was simply f***in hilarious! :)

Oh, and in BF2 you can't sink the aircraft carrier (or have i missed something?). Again, that was a lot of fun ...

Its probably just the lag before it hits your BFHQ page.

Remember, you only need one kill/cap/revive etc. for each rank up until you catch up with the new ranking system.

so is that rite then u hav to catch one flag or a kill and your rank goes up ?????(if it is wrong will ea games sort the ranks and put them bk to what they should be with scores

Did they also fix people punishing for driving over mines? Always annoyed the bloody hell out of me...

The ingame browser is messed up for me too. If I change the filters or type in a specific server or map the browser goes blank and locks up. I have to exit and log back in to get it to work again.

If that is the only glitch then EA has done a good job with the patch.

i have the very big problem that bf2 crashes every time when i want to connect to a server or in generell when i want to load a map... HELP!

O this is awesome. But sucks that I sold my old computer and my new one will be here on Friday. Wondering how am I gonna spend 3 more days?? VERY EXCITED FOR THE NEW MAP.

Wake Island, El Alamien, Karkand, Dalian Plant, and Sharqi Penn are the best maps to ever grace Battlefield history. You know diddly squat, to put it politely.
