Missing from patch: improved (competitive) MEC/Chinese transport helo door gun effectiveness. Right now the BH's miniguns are far better than the other door guns. Don't nerf the miniguns, just buff the other two.

Another thing that's missing: bunnyhopping fix and/or dolphin diving fix.

What else is missing? Suggestions?

its kinda rare they're releasin a patch on tuesday... usually friday..

Guess that answers the debate over whether people still gets points? Let the flaming begin I say, that's just sad they're ruining vehicles like that. Might as well go back to the 1942 way of capping flags.

Most of the rest of what I see I like though, just hope it all follows through into the gameplay and everything works well. And I agree with IGN, the danged verifying client data takes forever. Why can't it just verify it once on the game startup and be done with it?

GAMEPLAY CHANGES

- Many criteria for ranks and awards have changed. If you are immediately
eligible for a new promotion, unlock, badge, award, or ribbon, it will
be awarded the next time you receive points on a ranked server.

So for example, does that mean if I just in-game received Veteran Knife and I could immediately continue on for expert without having to log off and leave it for a few mins/hours before coming back to attempt to get the expert badge??

Commanders no longer accrue a TK when artillery hits
teammates.

Looks like I interpreted this correctly, we're going to be arty'd to death on public servers, thankfully they've sorted the voting out though!

I think that there probably going to add more ranks, but still require the same amount of points for weapon unlocks.

Does this sound logical or are they just going to rewriting the whole thing.

yeah i do wonder how they are going to handle lower points - more unlocks. if anything it is almost getting to the stage where they need multiple unlocks per class... perhaps make the last unlock super good - this should lead to sp[ecialist players.... could be cool... johnny we need that stinger lol

dude IGN doesn't kno how should we kno... all they said is to check on fileplanet for frequent updates or somethin.. its kinda rare they're releasin a patch on tuesday... usually friday..

Are we the only guys who noticed this?! The date on the posting of the review states the 3rd of october, so tomorrow actually means today Tuesday the 4th, right? After 3 comes 4 in my algebra

Or in the other case, the guys at IGN can't post for **** or are using somekind of unknown EA calendar
