Being an organised Military dosn't mean you can't wear a turban, that was pretty much the only difference, no?

Why exactly is it not politically correct to wear a turban anyway?

Modern military usually have a real distinct uniform, turbans and other things just dont qualify for that...

i read this whole thread and i cant seem to figure out what people expect from expansions?. an expansion adds more maps, vehicles, weapons, teams, features and all new content for the original game. what do you people expect a whole new completely different game for half the price? i think this expansion looks great and im gonna get it.

things like the instant zipline thing will be fixed. theres also crosshairs on ironsights which im sure will be fixed too. i liked how the nightvision has an energy metre so you cant run around with it on the whole time.

Oh yeah, don't know why I hadn't thought of that. Thanks for clearing it up.

But in the long run, who cares? Its practically impossible for the MEC to ever be created, not to mention by 2008. Besides, the turbans look cool.

Of Course it's nice to see an Expansion Pack being release..

Maybe it would have been nice to see BF2 bug free and the latest patch release d before EA prove to us that they are already working on making themselves more money..

Thanks EA, Again you have proved once again that customer service and satifaction are one of you lowest priorities.

Give them some credit, there has been editors released and there is this 140+ patch that is soon to be out.

Try ShIII they just gave up patching the game even with major bugs...

I've gone back to playing DC, why ? I've spent £2500 on a new rig for BF2, its nice eye candy but what about the BUGS !!!! And now an expansion pack ??????? are you joking ?? The GUI for online gaming is pathetic, simple things have been missed out, no CTF.
I'm waiting for a good mod to come out then goodbye to money making BF2/EA.
BF2 is not about gameplay like DC, its all about stat whoring.

wow solodude23, is that like FORD UK . like FORD USA...I'm impressed. same company different country ? I'm learning so much here. Whats your point ? FORD is FORD , like DICE is DICE...............don't make excuses for them. What I pointed out is a product made by one company, not two or three. Therefore DICE sweden and canada should fix the first game....Its like FORD UK makes a car with defective brakes, and FORD USA are making a faster model....makes sense doesn't it ?

Hey as*hole, DICE Canada had nothing to do with BF2. It practically is a different company. Its closer to Ford making a defective car and then Nissan fixing it... DICE is working on the Expansion as well as some other unkonwn project for X-Box 360 and such.

Besides, have you even heard about Patch 1.03 or whatever? Over 150 fixes. That right there obviously means they are working their asses off on fixing up BF2.

However I do agree with you on that stat sh*t. I hate stats. Makes everyone play immature, unfair, and everyone is independant on their own damn score. That negates teamwork by a ton. ANyways, I have develpoped a strategy against stats, don't play on stat servers.
