I hope i get to re-choose my weapon I should have never unlocked the one i got...

I unlocked the PKM, Medic Gun, and G3. They're probably the 3 worst guns. I want the sniper rifle, G36C, and ****in like.... Well probably ****in like the anti tank gun or something.

...for getting to test all the weapons...

we were kicked from our game - probably to "update" our accounts.

We froze on reconnect to account server, and had to hold down the start computer button (after trying to CTRL-ALT-DELETE - and ALT_TAB'ed to no avail).

Nothing worked. - an hour later...

This was the 8th time I have held down the START BUTTON FOR 5 SECONDS on my computer since I owned it.

ALL were due to BF-2 hanging my system.

I am no noob, and know how to carefully wait until pressing many keys, and waiting 30 or more seconds before pressing another command such as CTRL-ALT-DEL.

The fact is that BF-2 crashes computers...period.

I challenge someone to point to hardware or connection faults on my end, and to vindicate EA's poor programming

Such is the case with this game.

I call it the "BF-2 Lockup"

All of our internet connections fail to keep up with the game. (Cable: 3000 /256 ).

I find myself at desktop... suddenly alot - more than any game ever, on any computer.

I get "Connection Problems" more than any game ever, on any computer.

I "Fail to Connect to Account Server" more than any game ever, on any computer.

I have :

AMD 64 3200+
ATI X-800 XL (256)
Two Gigs Corsair 3200@400 Dual Channel
450 Watt Psu
Abit Fatality AN-8 Mobo
Tons of fans (Hottest it ever gets on CPU is 53 c).

I think that it is all due to the massive internet pipeline needed to run a game, and we all have to bottleneck somewhere.

Help a great game be dependable,please, E mo-F'n A

Man this sux EA is having so many problems with this game login in will probably be fixed by tommorow or sumthin better i hope to rechoose weapon cuz sniper sux u line up a shot and u miss and you and youre target are perfectly still probably get G36C or L85A1.

got to try out all the weps at least (theres a way to do it anyway but ya get busted) but really Ea/Dice must be bending over and ****ing each other not knowing what to do really i love the game but all the **** surronding it just makes it all crumble

Man I am pissed, I just got my helicopter ribbon and now it is not recording because of this. I can't login either. Well I hope at least I get to rechoose some of my unlocks. This rank system keeps having more problems, they should just let open it to the community and let the modder finish it. I am also glad zero2zero hack it, I am just mad at EA for leaving such a back door in the first place.

funny how once there is a problem in BF2, everyone rush to totalbf2.com to find answers (the browzer is slow as hell). I love this place

But if the game gives me a chance to choose my special weapon I'll just stick with my M95. I think I'll even try to just snipe on every level.

yeah, im getting the same problem with the log in problems. just sit back and wait. it hasnt been working for about an hour now. but, atleast it helped alot of people out. ive learned the G36C is a very good gun

I ****in hear u on that man i got a Amd 64 3500, 1 gig ocz pc3200 ddr400, saph x800 xl 256 pci-e x16 ultimate, i think the **** just doesnt like the 64 bit amds for somereason, another bug prolly LMAO....

Ea needs to announce if they gonna take all the login servers down before they just do it. that is so gay, we have people who pay 50 bucks for the game and some who pay up to hundreds a month for there servers and they dont get to play this sucks! EA GET REAL!
