Is This a Record Setting Portal Speedrun?

YouTube user, Transgenic86, claims to hold the new world record for a Portal speedrun. His time? 9 minutes, 25.567 seconds.

He makes extensive use of exploits and glitches, obviously. He also notes in his extensive behind the scenes commentary videos how he uses a script that jumps constantly. Other than that, he says that everything done is by his own hand.

What do you guys think? Can you beat his time? It should be noted that it took him roughly two years from the start of his venture until he completed it. Maybe you should just wait for Portal 2.

In the world of speed runs, this is as legit as you can get. This wasn't tool assisted as many speedruns are. This was all him.

The only script he used, if you watch his explanation videos, was a script that jumped constantly when he hit it. All movement, shooting, etc, was done by him over two years time and multiple takes.

Glitches, if left in the game, are complete fair game for those who do speedruns.
