OnLive, the streaming gaming option that could, is now offering a new way to play all of your favorite titles.
For just $9.99 per month, you can have unlimited time with games of your choosing. Think of this as GameFly but with almost immediate gratification due to OnLive's system of streaming the game from their machines to yours with minimal lag.
The beta for the monthly service is currently underway for those who already own the OnLive Game System ($99 USD plus it comes with a free game). The full service will go live on January 15 for everybody else.
The old methods for playing through OnLive remain intact. Gamers can still get a free demo, or rent for 3-days, 5-days, or fully purchase a title if they so choose to do so. Prices for these additional pay options range from $2.99 to $49.99.
When the PlayPack goes live on January 15, there will be over 40 titles for gamers to choose from with "LOTS more" promised.
