    More EA Maitenance Planned, More Hardware Being Added

    Over the next two days, EA and DICE will be working hard to fix some of the connection issues users have been having since the release of Bad Company 2. Beginning tomorrow, March 12 at 8:00 GMT (12:00AM PST), the EA back end will once again go down to start correcting the problem. More hardware will be added to better tackle the server load.

    The maintenance will again take place at the same time on Sunday for all three platforms. In addition to revealing these details, DICE has shared a few gameplay statistics with the world.

    This will be extended maintenance to allow the new hardware to be installed and affect all three platforms (PC, PS3 and Xbox 360).

    Since launch a week ago, BFBC2 has already put EA servers through the following stress:

    * The 4 different soldier types have gathered a score of more than 34 Billion.
    * There's been more than 400M kills made.
    * 1.3M roadkills
    * Squads and Teams have assisted each other to 6.2 Billion points.

    So, when you are unable to log into Bad Company 2 over the next few days, you'll now know why.
