BioShock 2 Will Not Have Controller Support Patched In

All of the online petitions in the world couldn't have saved this one, as it appears 2K has no intentions of adding in controller support to the PC version of BioShock 2. Elizabeth, the Community Manager for 2K, issued the following response in the same thread in which she stated earlier that she would take the users' complaints to the development team.

"I talked to the dev team about controller support for BioShock 2, and I want to let you know that we won’t be adding this into the game in a patch. The decision not to support the controller was not made lightly, and to add it now would take a complete re-envisioning of the UI that the team worked so hard to create.

I’m sorry for those of you who are disappointed, and I want you to know that your comments and concerns have been heard and will be taken in to account when we are planning in the future."

Sorry PC users, it looks like everyone is stuck using that cumbersome mouse and keyboard for BioShock 2.

Crysis, fallout 3, borderlands, operation flashpoint dragon rising...

All of the above games work with the xbox 360 controller with little adjustments needed.

It's odd how CodMW2 and Bioshock 2 don't support it.
